Currier Named Delphic League Baseball MVP
Five Brentwood School players earn first team honors; three make the second team.
What a difference a year has made for the Brentwood School baseball program.
In 2010, the Eagles went winless in league and had only two players on the All-League team. In 2011, the Eagles finished undefeated in league and have eight players on the All-Delphic League squad.
"Absolutely, I'm satisfied," Brentwood Coach said of his team's selections. "I think we could've gone a little further in the [CIF] playoffs, though. We had one bad inning [against Oxford Academy] that cost us."

Fowble was recognized as the league's champion coach after guiding the Eagles to an 18-3 overall record, an 8-0 league mark and a run to the CIF Southern Section Division 6 quarterfinals, where they lost to Oxford Academy 11-5.
"We have some incoming freshman who look really good, so I'm optimistic about next season," Fowble said. "We got moved down [to Division 6] because we did so poorly last season. I want to see us get back to Division 5 and even higher."
