Dollars for Scholars program raises money for local schools
Vacaville Commons is proud to announce its community outreach program, Dollars for Scholars. The program awards local schools.

Dollars for Scholars works by awarding participating schools five points for every dollar spent at Vacaville Commons from August 1st, 2014 through May 21st, 2015. Parents, friends and students simply credit their receipts to participating schools by dropping them off at selected stores at Vacaville Commons. Additional points can be earned through means that do not require any spending, such as attending special mall events, school spirit, and monthly bonus point options. These alternatives help to make the program beneficial for schools of all sizes. Vacaville Commons awards cash prizes at the end of the program based on total points earned throughout the school year.
Fifteen local schools are eligible to participate in the program. The schools for the 2014-2015 program are: Browns Valley Elementary School, David A. Weir Preparatory Academy, Edwin Markham Elementary, Fairmont Charter Elementary, Laurel Creek Elementary, and Travis Elementary School.
Dollars for Scholars is a fun and easy way for schools to earn much needed funding, and Vacaville Commons is excited to be able to offer the program to its community. If your school would like to sign up, there are five (5) more spots left in the 2014-2015 program. For more information, please contact the Dollars for Scholars Coordinators at 1-800-762-1641.
