Elderly Woman Found Dead in Her Brentwood Yard

A woman in her 80s, whose body was discovered by a gardener in the yard of a home off Sunset Boulevard in Brentwood, probably died as the result of an accident, police said.

The body was found at 10:37 a.m. in the 11500 block of Sunset Boulevard, according to the fire department, which turned the case over to police.

“The preliminary conclusion is that she died as the result of an accident,” said Los Angeles Police Officer Jack Richter.
