'Expendables 2' is #1 for Second Week at Box Office

'Bourne Legacy' and 'ParaNorman' follows in the box office report.

"The Expendables 2" is the most-popular movie in North America for the second straight weekend, according to studio estimates of box office sales figures.

The sequel is expected to do $13.5 million in business this weekend, and is on track for a $52.3 million sales total over 10 days, according to the estimates gathered by Hollywood.com.

"The Bourne Legacy" dropped to $9.3 million in weekend sales, but has amassed an $85.5 million bottom line after three weeks of exhibition.

"ParaNorman" was in third place, with an $8.5 million weekend and $28.3 million in receipts over two weeks.

The latest Will Ferrell comedy, "Campaign," was in fourth place with a $7.4 million weekend and $64.5 million over a three-week rollout.

And "The Dark Knight Rises" was in fifth place, with a $7.2 million weekend and a six-week domestic gross of $422.2 million.

Rounding out the 10 most-popular films in the U.S. and Canada this weekend, as estimated by the studios and collated by Hollywood.com, were "The Odd Life of Timothy Green" ($7.1 million), "Premium Rush" (premiering with $6.3 million), "2016 Obama's America" ($6.2 million), "Hope Springs" ($6 million) and "Hit And Run" ($4.7 million).
