Friends of Brentwood Branch Library Hold Book Sale

Friend hold annual holiday event with wide variety of books marked down.

The Friends of the Kaufman Brentwood Branch of the Los Angeles Public Library are holding one of their regular book sales in the library's community room until 3 p.m. today.

"We need to [sell] the books so we can get new stuff in," volunteer Harland Gaynor said.

The Friends run a regular used book store on the second floor of the library, but Gaynor explained that two or three times a year, the store must mark down prices on various books to make room as new donations come in.
