Los Angeles County coroner's officials confirmed today that the Feb. 9 death of the half-sister of actress Julia Roberts was a suicide, and listed the cause of her death as drowning and the combined effects of multiple drugs.

Nancy Motes, 37, was found dead about 2:15 p.m. that day at a home in the 1000 block of North Bundy Drive, where she was house- and dog-sitting.
