Pacific Palisades Crash Sends Car Careening into Woman Walking Dog

A woman has been hospitalized in fair condition, but her dog was killed when a wreck on PCH sent a car crashing into them.

One of two cars involved in a collision today on Pacific Coast Highway in Pacific Palisades struck and injured a woman and killed the dog she was walking.

The collision occurred about 5:54 p.m. in the 16300 block of West Pacific Coast Highway, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

One car struck another, causing it to careen into the 30-year-old woman and her dog, Stewart said.

“Sadly, the dog did not survive,” Stewart said.

The struck woman and a 60-year-old woman who was driving the car that hit her were both in fair condition when taken to a hospital, Stewart said.

A 20-year-old man who was driving the other vehicle was treated and released at the scene, she said.
