Section of Barrington Closes Tonight for Expo Line Construction

Beginning at 9 p.m., a section of Barrington Avenue in West Los Angeles will be closed tonight to allow for construction on the Metro Expo Line.
Crews will shut down Barrington Avenue in both directions between Olympic Boulevard and Tennessee Avenue until 6 a.m. Monday, officials said.
According to the Exposition Construction Authority, the full closure is needed to allow contractors to install tracks along the new light rail line.

In addition, Exposition Boulevard north and south of the Expo Line right of way will be temporarily closed at Barrington Avenue during the same time period.
Electronic message boards, signs and flaggers will be placed in the area to detour motorists around the closures.

Local access inside the closure area will be maintained for residents and businesses. Pedestrian access will be maintained on the the east side of Barrington Avenue.
