BRENTWOOD, CA — A teenage boy suffered what appeared to be a non-life- threatening hip injury Saturday when he fell on a remote trail around Westridge-Canyonback Wilderness Park, authorities said.
It was reported about 3:20 p.m. around the park in the Santa Monica Mountains around Mulholland Drive and the Mandeville Fire Road, Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
An LAFD helicopter was expected to hoist and take the patient to a hospital, Humphrey said.
