It looks like the VA is keeping the gates closed on a permanent basis off Brigham to prevent cars from cutting through to the freeway and avoiding Wilshire Boulevard. I knew it was just a matter of time when the gridlock through the VA exceeded the gridlock on Barrington Avenue heading north at 5pm. The sign said that the gate would be reopened after the 405 freeway ramp was completed. Is that true or false? By the way, can government be trusted?
