Thousands In Brentwood Left Without Power Overnight
Authorities think wind may be the culprit behind an overnight power outage that left thousands in the dark in Brentwood.
BRENTWOOD, CA — Crews restored power Thursday morning to about 1,700 Los Angeles Department of Water and Power customers in Brentwood.
The outage was one of several across Los Angeles Wednesday night.
The outages, which may have been wind-related, began around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, which was when DWP reported 1,988 customers were without power in the Sawtelle area and 1,498 customers were without power in the Hollywood Hills.

Power was restored to customers in the Sawtelle sometime around 12:30 a.m., but a new outage affecting 1,301 customers was reported in the Pico- Robertson area.
Power was restored to all customers by 1:45 a.m.
