• Peak Energy Sodium-Ion Battery Gigafactory Sacramento (fuelcellsworks.com) — Peak Energy's new Sacramento-area gigafactory will massively outscale its existing Burlingame battery facility, boosting production from about 100 MWh to 4 GWh annually starting in 2027. For Burlingame residents, this means the local plant remains important but will be complemented by a much larger site that could strengthen the region's clean-energy industry, jobs pipeline, and technological reputation.
