• Left Turns Prohibited in Active Construction Zones on El Camino Real in San Mateo County through December (ca.gov) — If you drive El Camino Real through Burlingame, expect no left turns in several active construction zones between now and December, with restrictions in place 24/7. Segments from Bellevue to Sanchez, Hilltop to Peninsula, and Hillside to Lincoln are affected, and SamTrans has a Burlingame bus detour in place while the $173 million rehab project upgrades pavement, sidewalks, and drainage.
