1 Arrested In Violent Calabasas Robbery; 2 Suspects At Large
Los Angeles Police believe they have identified three men involved in a Downtown armed robbery and a Calabasas follow-home robbery.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Police arrested a 31-year-old man in connection with a spree of violent follow-home robberies in downtown Los Angeles and Calabasas, and two more suspects are wanted, authorities announced this week.
Los Angeles Police allege Jamar Stewart of Los Angeles, 18-year-old Kenneth Bonds and a third unidentified suspect stalked residents at a Downtown parking garage in December, robbed them at gunpoint in the building's elevator lobby and fled. Police suspect they pistol-whipped a man just a few hours later in a Calabasas robbery.
Stewart was arrested on Jan. 26 for "multiple counts of robbery" and police are searching for Bonds, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The first robbery occurred on Dec. 11 at about 8 p.m. in a parking structure in the 1200 block of South Flower Street near Crypto.com Arena. Surveillance footage from the scene showed the masked robbers following the victims as they walked from their vehicle to the elevator lobby.
"As the victims waited for the elevator, two suspects, armed with handguns, exited the passenger side of the Volkswagen Tiguan and stormed into the elevator lobby," the LAPD wrote. "The suspects pointed handguns at the victims and demanded their property. The victims
complied and avoided injury. The victim’s jewelry, phone, and keys were taken in this incident."

The robbers fled, and one suspect entered the front passenger seat of Volkswagen Tiguan, while the other suspect took the victims' vehicle, according to police. The victim’s vehicle was recovered a short time later along with his cell phone.
A few hours later, a second robbery occurred in the 23500 block of Calabasas Road near the Ventura (101) Freeway. During this incident, the victim was hit over the head with a gun after refusing to give the robbers his property, according to police. A witness who came to the victim’s aid had her purse taken, too.According to the LAPD, Stewart is the alleged driver of the Volkswagen Tiguan and Bonds is suspected of being one of the armed suspects wearing a ski mask.
A warrant has been issued for Bonds' arrest.
