Breaking: A truck rear-ended another, pushing it into the motorcycle, according to CHP.

TOPANGA CANYON, CA — A 76-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash Saturday in Topanga Canyon, the California Highway Patrol said Sunday. Two related crashes occurred at 11:05 a.m. Saturday on Topanga Canyon Boulevard at Woodland Crest Drive, the CHP reported.
First, a Toyota Sienna was driven by a 51-year-old man south on Topanga Canyon Boulevard, and it rear-ended a Toyota Tacoma pickup that was stopped to make a left turn onto Woodland Crest Drive. The impact pushed the pickup truck into the northbound lane, into the path of the approaching motorcyclist, who was riding a 2017 Triumph.
The 76-year-old motorcyclist, a nearby resident, was ejected from his motorcycle. Paramedics rushed him to UCLA Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival. His name has yet to be publicized.
No one was arrested and it was unclear if anyone was cited.
