CALABASAS, CA — City Clerk Patrice Lattimore reminded eligible residents Friday to register to vote in time for remote participation in the November election.
The deadline to register to vote is this Monday.
To be eligible to vote Nov. 3, Calabasas residents must be a citizen of the U.S., at least 18 years old by Election Day and not imprisoned for a felony.
Previously registered voters who have moved or changed their names since the last election must also re-register to vote. The same goes for voters who want to change their political party affiliation.
Registering by Monday will enable voters to receive a mail-in ballot, Latimore said. She also encouraged voters to make a plan to vote early either by mailing a completed ballot well ahead of the election or by placing the ballot in an official drop box, which are located across the Los Angeles County. Voters may also drop off ballots at any LA County Vote Center.

Eligible residents who miss the registration deadline can still vote in person at any Vote Center in LA County starting Saturday, Oct. 24.
