Bay Laurel Students Donate 3,000 Cans in Food Drive

Local elementary students celebrate their 100th day of school in a charitable spirit.

This year in celebration of the 100th Day of School, Bay Laurel Elementary students brought in cans of food to be donated to the local food pantry, MANNA.

Each class set a goal of 100 can in honor of 100 days of school. The first grade students helped load the cans into the back of the MANNA truck in the afternoon.  After gathering each classroom's total, the final can count came to 3,362, far exceeding our goal.
