Brush Fire Extinguished Near Alizia Canyon Drive

Firefighters knock down a four-acre blaze in less than an hour.

Firefighters extinguished a four-acre blaze on Monday that was burning brush in the hills behind a condominium complex in the 26000 block of Alizia Canyon Drive, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

The brusher was reported at 3:13 p.m. and knocked down by 3:55 p.m., said Inspector Matt Levesque.

About 135 firefighters and three helicopter crews battled the fire, he said.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the blaze is being investigated, Levesque said.
