Calabasas Film Festival to Kick Off with 'The Equalizer'
The festival is scheduled for Sept. 12. Tickets go on sale Friday.

The inaugural Calabasas Film Festival, presented by the city of Calabasas, to be held Friday, Sept. 12, announced its opening night film the U.S. premiere of the Denzel Washington thriller, The Equalizer.
An ex-CIA agent uses his lethal skills to protect a young women in jeopardy (Chloe Grace Moretz) from a violent Russian mob, in this hard-edged big screen adaptation of the cult 80s TV show from director Antoine Fuqua (Training Day). Following the screening there will be a Q&A with the producers, Todd Black and Jason Blumenthal.

There will be another major studio film showcased Saturday evening and the rest of the film line up will be announced through the website in the coming days ahead. Opening night and VIP passes can be purchased at the website and will go on sale to the general public on Friday.
