Calabasas Seeks Sheriff's 'Eyes And Ears' Volunteers
The Lost Hills Sheriff's Station is seeking new members for its Volunteers on Patrol program.

CALABASAS, CA — Do you think you can act as another set of eyes and ears to help the Sheriff's Department police Calabasas?
The Lost Hills Sheriff's Station is actively seeking new members for its Volunteers on Patrol program. Participants are trained to patrol the community and advise deputies of suspicious activities, accidents and other hazards.
Volunteers also help with traffic control and other activities.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department provides training in traffic control, community patrolling, disaster response, first aid, vacation/business checks and special events assistance.
The department says participants include people of all ages and backgrounds. Members are required to be at least 18, pass an oral interview and background check, have a clean driving record, addend a driving course and commit to patrolling at least 16 hours per month.
