California State Parks invites the public to a workshop on the Malibu Creek Ecosystem Restoration Project. Learn about the design and engineering updates related to the removal of Rindge Dam, project benefits that include restoring natural ecosystem functions, expanding critical habitat for endangered Southern California steelhead trout and other native species, and enhancing coastal resilience through beach nourishment. The public will have an opportunity to ask questions, share feedback, and engage directly with the project team.&nbsp;Thursday, October 15, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Las Virgenes Municipal Water District Conference Room, 4232 Las Virgenes Road, Calabasas, CA 91302

 <td>Join the group at Courthouse Square and walk approximately one-half mile along Fourth Street, through Santa Rosa Plaza, to the Railroad Square SMART station.</td>

 <td>Meet the group at the Railroad Square SMART station before the 1:54 p.m. departure.</td>

 <td>Board the 1:54 p.m. SMART train with the torch and travel to Rohnert Park for the handoff to the Rotary Club of Rohnert Park. The train ride is approximately eight minutes.</td>

 <td>Return SMART trains depart Rohnert Park at 2:11 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. Participants should coordinate carpools and parking in advance because the walk starts at Santa Rosa Junior College and ends at Railroad Square.</td>
