Celebrate Remember Bark Back Sunday September 20

                                     Dog lovers will bring out their furry friends this weekend in Calabasas, CA to honor cancer survivors, pay tribute to loved ones lost and remember those who are still fighting. The American Cancer Society’s Bark For Life event is a 1 mile noncompetitive walk for dogs and their owners to raise funds and awareness to create a world with less cancer and more birthdays.

                                    WHO: Dogs large and small, from Great Dane guard dogs to little Chihuahuas lap dogs, dog owners, volunteers, families, individuals, teams, and the American Cancer Society.

                                    WHAT: The American Cancer Society’s Bark For Life is a noncompetitive walk for dogs and their owners to raise awareness and funds for the American Cancer Society’s fight against cancer. Even though walking might be your canine companion’s favorite thing to do, Bark For Life participants will also enjoy contests, games and demonstrations.

Special Guest and Grand Marshal New York Times Best Selling Author and cancer survivor Teresa Rhyne and Canine Grand Marshal 2x cancer survivor a very colorful poodle Fire will be kicking off the opening ceremonies with a Blessing of the Animals. Cancer Survivors will lead the walk as we Celebrate their victory and Remember loved ones as we walk through the park. Bark Back after the walk and stay for the afternoon walking through Bark Avenue to visit Vendor and Sponsor booths as you play Bark Bingo, K9 Club will host games and contests, stop by the Silent Auction and Raffle booth. All Animals Veterinary Hospital and vet of the day Dr. Attila Molnar will offer a refreshing station for the canines. REGISTRATION: $20.00 for 1 Dog, $25.00 for 2 Dogs every registered dog receives a bark Bandana, Dog Tag and Swag Bag. The Goal is to have each dog Fundraise $100.00. Suggested Donation of $15.00 for non-dog walker.
