Crash Injures 3, Forces Closure Of Las Virgenes Road In Calabasas
The vehicle took down power lines, and one person involved in the crash was airlifted to a trauma center, an LAFD official said.

CALABASAS, CA – A crash injured three people Wednesday, forcing the closure of a road linking Malibu to the San Fernando Valley until Thursday morning. Two people suffered minor injuries and were taken to a hospital via ambulance, and a third person was airlifted to a trauma center, a Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher said.
The single-vehicle crash was reported about 4:10 p.m. on Las Virgenes Road near Las Virgenes Canyon Road, authorities said.
The vehicle took down power lines, which forced the closure of Las Virgenes Road between Piuma Road and Mulholland Highway, according to the sheriff's department.

The closure was expected to remain in effect until 7 a.m. Thursday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
