Deputies Need Help ID'ing Identity Theft Suspect Seen Breaking into Cars in Calabasas

She then took the victims' credit cards on a shopping spree in Westlake Village, officials say.

Sheriff’s investigators today sought the public’s help in locating a man and woman suspected of breaking into vehicles near Calabasas and then using a victim’s credit cards to make purchases at a store in Westlake Village.

The suspects allegedly broke the windows of vehicles in the 26900 block of Mulholland Highway in the unincorporated Santa Monica Mountains and took items such as wallets, cell phones and purses, according to the sheriff’s department.

They were later seen using a victim’s credit card in a T.J. Maxx store in Westlake Village, officials said.

The woman is Hispanic, 40-45 years old with dark hair, and the man is white, 25-35 years old with a thin build, dark hair and sideburns.

Anyone with information about the suspects was urged to contact the detective investigating the case at (818) 878-5533. Anonymous tips can be provided by calling Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS.
