Elvis Presley's Grandson Found Dead In Calabasas At 27

CALABASAS, CA — Benjamin Keough, the son of Lisa Marie Presley and grandson of Elvis Presley, has died at 27.

Presley’s representative Roger Widynowski said in a Sunday statement to the Associated Press that she was “heartbroken, inconsolable and beyond devastated” over her son’s death.

TMZ reported that Keough died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in Calabasas. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s officer confirmed that Keough was the man found by deputies in the 24800 block of Alexandra Court, but did not say how he died.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department initially reported that Keough’s body was found in the street, and ruled that death as a possible homicide.

Keough was the son of Lisa Marie Presley and actor Danny Keough. Presley and Keough have another daughter Riley, 31, and two 11-year-old twins from another marriage.

“She is completely heartbroken, inconsolable, and beyond devastated but trying to stay strong for her 11-year-old twins and her oldest daughter, Riley,” said Widynowski. “She adored that boy. He was the love of her life.”
