ChiRunning Workshop

ChiRunning combines the form and focus of Tai Chi with the power and energy of running to create a revolutionary and unique running form and philosophy that decreases impact and makes running a much safer sport. The ChiRunning program also enhances the joy of running by increasing mental clarity and focus and provides the student with a lifelong program for health, fitness and well being.  

In this ChiRunning workshop we will cover the basic ChiRunning form and focuses: Posture, Lean, Heel Lift, Arm Swing, Gears and Stride Length, Cadence, Hills and Body Looseners and do before and after video analysis.  I will give you tools so that you can continue your progress after the workshop and enjoy the benefits of this beautiful and gentle practice. ChiRunning is for everyone, from absolute beginners and runners with nagging injuries to Ultra-athletes and competitive runners.  There is no particular level of fitness required to participate.  If you are new to running you will find the ability and motivation to make running (or walking) a healthy and wholesome addition to your life.  You will feel energized and focused and exercise will become a pleasure rather than a dreaded chore.  If you are already running and/or competing, you will find yourself lighter and faster with less effort.  You will be far less injury prone and your mind and body will be more relaxed and efficient. Whichever you are,  I welcome you to ChiRunning!
