Laura B Gaye - Chronicler of Old West Calabasas. Presented with the Calabasas Historical Society (CHS)
The CHS collection includes copies of Laura Gaye's books that highlight the people and early history of the Calabasas area - The Last of the Old West published in 1965 and The Land of the West Valley from 1975. We also have her long oral history from 1980 in our collection. This talk will highlight both her story and that of the people of the area.
