“Fright Night” Celebrating Halloween in a Terrifyingly New Way
Spotlight The Arts Foundation presents dramatic readings of Edgar Allan Poe's works and other surprises at a free event!
A week before Halloween, author, actor, poet, director, and playwright Peter Hayes Brothers directs performances to captivate you by talented thespians of the most macabre literary imaginings penned by Poe. Director Brothers, along with Andrea Diamond, Ken Jones, and Dr. Bradley Bobbs portraying Poe himself, will enthrall audiences with works including ”The Tell-Tale Heart" and "The Raven."
Fitting the season, Brothers will turn his bookshop audience into accomplices for eerie tales of intrigue, betrayal, and supernatural specters. Bring your friends to witness the resurrection of shadowed gothic literature, for only as long as the pendulum swings.
Don't miss out on prizes, dressing up in your Halloween costume, spooky readings, and our special guest Calabasas Mayor James Bozajian who will give intriguing historical information on Edgar Allen Poe.
