CALABASAS, CA – Hikers found remains Sunday in the wreckage of an old airplane crash near Calabasas, according to the Los Angeles Daily News. The hikers made the grisly discovery in the afternoon while walking in a hilly area of unincorporated Los Angeles County close to Calabasas. The remains were being investigated by sheriff's homicide detectives. It's unclear how old the airplane wreckage was or if the remains were from one person or more than one. Investigators from the National Transportation Safety Board were headed to the site. City News Service contributed to this post
