Interested in Having Your Child Attend Calabasas High? Tours Begin This Month
The two-hour events will include an informational meeting, a tour of the facilities, visits to classrooms and the Performing Arts Center.

Calabasas High School will begin tours of its campus for prospective parents and families beginning 9 a.m. Sept. 19.
The two-hour events will include an informational meeting, followed by a tour of the facilities, visits to classrooms and the Performing Arts Educational Center.

“We have many families returning to Calabasas High School from private schools or after private middle schools,” offered CJ Foss, Principal. She continued, “Calabasas High School offers a variety of programs and opportunities that do not exist in even the finest private secondary schools.”
The Tours highlights Calabasas High School’s college prep courses and specialty programs, including its Academy of Media Entertainment, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math) and Career Technical Education Programs. Administrators meet with guests and answer questions while parent volunteers and student ambassadors act as guides.

“Through the tours, we are able to show how the kids are involved on campus and how many diverse clubs and activities we have” said Perry Wasserman, student ambassador. He added “that with the music and theater programs, sports teams and Associated Student Body with 90 clubs, there is something for everyone at Calabasas.”
Ms. Foss added “that the excellence and support in our community can be felt from time on our campus and we invite parents to see for themselves.”
The weekday tours are scheduled twice a month with a special showcase set for Saturday morning, Dec. 6. Sign ups are available through the Calabasas High website at www.CalabasasHigh.net. Information packets will be available on academics, activities, athletics and the arts, as well as, the parent Faculty Club, booster clubs and FAQs.
Calabasas High School, a WASC accredited high school has just under 1800 students and has received recognition as a National Blue Ribbon School, California Distinguished School, US News & World Reports Best High Schools-Silver and ranking amongst Newsweek’s Best High Schools.
