It's Just A Drill!: Firefighter Drill In Topanga Tuesday

It's going to seem like there's a big fire in Topanga tomorrow, but it's just an exercise for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

CALABASAS, CA — False alarm!

The Los Angeles County Fire Department will hold a firefighting exercise tomorrow evening in Topanga using aircrafts, according to the City of Malibu.

The drill will take place from 5-9 p.m. at the Bravo 69 water filling station, located off of Saddle Peak Road. Given the drill will include aircraft practice, there will be overhead noise and activity, the city said.

Fire has been on locals' minds as much of Los Angeles faced high fire risk weather conditions throughout last week. Alisal Fire has burned in Santa Barbara for days, and as of Monday the fire was 80 percent contained.
