Krispy Kreme, operated by Great Circle Family foods, operates 11 shops throughout Southern California. Great Circle employs over 400 people and sold over 2 ½ million dozen doughnuts last year. The company became interested in the Arthritis Foundation’s efforts because a long-time employee has a daughter with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis (JRA).

“For the past three years, Krispy Kreme has formed a Walk Team to join the annual “Walk to Cure Arthritis”, says Wendy Glickman, co-owner of Krispy Kreme. “This year, we will have more than 50 employees walking, as a team, in the Orange County/Inland Empire “Walk to Cure Arthritis” on May 17th at Angel Stadium.” In the past, they have raised $8,000 and plan to match or exceed that amount, this year.
