Low Speed Chase, Standoff Snarls Rush Hour Traffic on the 101
A driver led police from Ventura County to Woodland Hills during the Monday Morning rush hour.

A motorist led officers on a chase today from Ventura County to the Woodland Hills area, where he surrendered after authorities forced his SUV to stop on the eastbound Ventura (101) Freeway, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The slow-speed chase ended about 7:20 a.m. near DeSoto Avenue, where the man got out of the vehicle after a brief standoff with officers.
Ventura County sheriff’s deputies chased the vehicle into Los Angeles County, were CHP officers took over shortly before 7 a.m., the CHP reported. The suspect’s name was not immediately released.
