Vendors Cut Fees for School District
The board of education thanks more than a dozen companies for agreeing to continue providing key services for less money.
Las Virgenes Unified School District officials thanked 17 vendors Tuesday for agreeing to work for lower rates to save the district money.
The combined savings for the district amount to about $30,000, said Karen Kimmel, chief business official.
In return, the board of education awarded each company owner or manager a personalized work of art made by an LVUSD student.
