Minor Earthquake Rumbles Calabasas

A 3.9 magnitude tremor hits near Port Hueneme Friday night but no major damage is reported.

A magnitude 3.9 earthquake struck nine miles southeast of Port Hueneme on Friday night, but no injuries were reported.

The tremor occurred at 8:19 p.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

Few calls were made to the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station regarding the earthquake, and those who did phone did not report any major damage to their homes or injuries, Sgt. Ken Crocker said.
