New Saturday Breakfast Menu at Sagebrush
Customers can now order breakfast offerings with a twist from south of the border.
announces a new “gourmet casual” Saturday breakfast menu created by Head Chef Salvador Morales. The new menu features artfully presented entrees that include freshly prepared south-of-the-border specialties.
“Everything is created here and created fresh,” said Morales, who oversees the preparation of the new breakfast menu. For some of the dishes, the produce comes from the Saturday Calabasas Farmers Market located across the street from the restaurant.
Among the new signature dishes are Huevos ala Mexicana, an authentic Guadalajara-style scramble of eggs, chorizo, jalapeno, onion, cilantro, sour cream and guacamole served with rice and beans; Breakfast Carne Asada Plate, a tender asada steak, chilaquiles, eggs, beans, rice, guacamole and homemade tomato relish; Breakfast Quesadilla stuffed with scrambled eggs, cheese and bacon for dipping in sides of guacamole, sour cream and salsa fresca; Huevos Rancheros, a crispy tortilla bed topped with two fresh eggs, homemade ranchera salsa and cheese, served with rice and beans; and a Breakfast Burrito filled with a selection of eggs, meats and potatoes served with salsa fresca.

A highlight of the new menu is a Nutella and Queso Asadero empanada made with a cream cheese dough and served with seasonal mixed berries. The gourmet empanadas are a breakfast indulgence for one or an ideal dessert for sharing. Another signature sweet treat are the Cajeta (dulce de leche) Crepes.
For those interested in turning Saturday breakfast into a leisurely brunch, the cantina features a tequila bar with over 34 tequilas and mescals to complement the Mexican specialties.

The new menu is served Saturday mornings from 8-11 a.m.
