More than 600 lots are on the auction block this week to benefit . The annual fundraiser runs through Sunday.

The online auction features items such as a Lakers jersey signed by Ron Artest, VIP passes for four to the Magic Castle in Hollywood, hotel stays from Mexico to Paris, spa packages, fitness offerings including a one-year unlimited membership to Equinox gym, sports and entertainment tickets, TV show tapings, homework passes and an assortment of casual and fine dining.

The money raised helps pay the salaries of the school librarian, P.E. teacher, art teacher and computer teacher; to purchase new books and computers; and fund field trips and performing arts.

“We’re trying to supplement what the school district and state don’t provide anymore, just to keep the level of education up and offer our children as much of a well-rounded education as possible,” said third-year auction co-chair and Chaparral Parent Faculty Club member Richelle Blanken. “These services provide vital information that kids need to learn at a young age to appreciate reading and fine and performing arts. It’s also important to a kid’s education to learn how to move their bodies and the importance of exercise.”
