CALABASAS HIGH SCHOOL MUSIC PROGRAM ANNOUNCES ITS
“SECOND ANNUAL ONLINE SPRING AUCTION”
TO SUPPORT MUSIC EDUCATION

Auction begins on Tuesday, February 17 and runs through Monday, February 23, 2015. Auction Proceeds will benefit more than 300 Calabasas High School Music Program students.

February 17, 2015, CALABASAS, CALIFORNIA— From Tuesday, February 17 through Monday, February 23, 2015, Calabasas High School (CHS) Music Program welcomes CHS families and the community-at-large to go online and bid for some amazing items. This is a wonderful opportunity to purchase unique items while supporting talented student musicians and the arts program at Calabasas High School’s award-winning Music Department, located at 22855 West Mulholland Highway in Calabasas.

The public and the school community can get involved and contribute towards the award winning music program. The Calabasas High School Music Program is a key element to our community, enriching the lives of students, as well as the community. The music program puts on many events and the new Performing Arts Education Center (PAEC) on the high school campus provides the community with outstanding music performances and programs. The mission of the PAEC is “To be a cultural hub for the arts, education and broad participation where the lives of students and the greater community are enriched; …and where our students are prepared to be the leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs of the future.”

All it takes is to go online and view the wonderful items waiting for a bid. CHS families and community members can start the New Year knowing that they’ve contributed to the Calabasas music beat! Some of the wonderful items that can be purchased include:

· Concert, Theater, and Sports Tickets

· Special Experiences, like back-stage passes, etc.

· Travel packages or hotel/time-share vacations

· Electronics

· Jewelry and watches

· Spa, salon, and nail certificates

AWARD WINNING CHS MUSIC PROGRAM -- Students in the Music Program at Calabasas High School give many outstanding performances in the new Performing Arts Education Center located on the campus and showcase their musical talent at many other venues.
