Families enjoy rides, games and other fun activities during the yearly fundraiser.
The Yoyo ride, “potato tornados” and face painting were the highlights of annual carnival, the school’s biggest fundraising event, held Sunday.
Fourth grader Nikki Asgariani said the favorite part of the carnival was the rides, particularly the Yoyo, a new addition this year.
“It lifts you into the sky and you feel like you’re flying,” she said.

Lupin Hill Faculty Parent Club President Kim Hamilton estimated that volunteers put in over 300 man-hours just to run the carnival; planning took months more.
“Without the volunteers, without the preparation, the carnival wouldn’t be possible,” carnival chairperson Angelique Daugherty said.

Third grade teacher Jennifer Treadaway, whose son Owen is a second-grader, enjoyed seeing her current and former students and the community working together for a common cause.
“The carnival helps the school build its community,” she said.
Matt Koepnick, a sixth-grader at , came back to his elementary school to volunteer. Having attended the carnival since he was a kindergartner, this year was his first volunteering.
“A lot of people help make the carnival happen,” said the 12-year-old. He manned the spin-art booth, and his green paint-stained hands were proof of his efforts. “It raises a lot of money to give kids opportunities, so they can have a great time in school.”
