Police Blotter
These are the incidents reported to the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station from April 9 to April 11.
Friday, April 9
An inch-and-a-half-wide bullet hole, possibly from a BB gun, was found in a light fixture of a security guard shack at the entrance to 4277 Viscasa Drive. It is unclear when the shooting occurred, but a security guard at the site noticed the hole around 10 a.m. and phoned it in. He and Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's deputies asked nearby residents for any information, but were unable to produce any witnesses.
Saturday, April 10 and Sunday, April 11
More than $300 in electronics and purses was stolen from a vehicle parked at 1580 Las Virgenes Road between 11:45 p.m. and 1:38 a.m. The vehicle's owners were attending a party when their car was burglarized. No evidence of forced entry was found, and sheriff's deputies believe the owners forgot to lock their car. An iPod Touch, Canon digital camera, two purses and $60 in cash was stolen.
Anyone with information on these incidents is asked to call the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station at 818-878-1808.
