Police Search For Suspect In Calabasas Area Shooting
The Lost Hills Sheriff's Station sought the public's help in finding a suspect who authorities said shot someone at a party on Saturday.
CALABASAS, CA — The Lost Hills Sheriff's Station sought the public's help Monday in finding a suspect who authorities said shot a woman attending a party near Calabasas Saturday night.
According to authorities, the shooting was reported on March 4 at the 5000 block of Parkway Calabasas, which is unincorporated Los Angeles County area near the city of Calabasas. When officers arrived, they said they saw multiple people leaving the location before they found a woman who had been shot in her shoulder.
The woman told police that she was on the second-story balcony of the home when she heard two to three gunshots.

"She immediately felt a burning sensation in her back and realized she had been shot," officers said. "Her friend took her to the bathroom and assisted her to the brick wall where she rendered aid until the sheriffs arrived."
Witnesses said there was an argument between two groups of people at the party just before the shooting happened.

Neither the victim nor her friend provided any information about the suspect. Deputies said despite searching for the suspect, they could not find them.
