Strong winds and relatively low humidity will continue through Friday across Los Angeles County.

CALABASAS, CA – A red flag warning is in effect through Friday evening for gusty northeast winds and low relative humidity in Calabasas and across the mountains, valleys and coastal areas of Los Angeles County, the National Weather Service announced.

The strongest winds will occur tonight and Friday morning with northeasterly wind gusts generally between 50 and 70 miles per hour, the NWS said. Humidities will drop into the single digits Thursday and Friday with little, if any, recovery tonight.

"There will be an overall break in the winds Saturday and Saturday night. However, beginning Sunday, another round of Santa Ana winds is expected to develop with the gusty winds lasting through Tuesday," the NWS said.
