Registration for Calabasas Savvy Seniors/50+ Fall Classes

Begins Monday, August 17, 2015

(Calabasas, CA) - August 10, 2015 – The City of Calabasas Recreation Brochure, including a large section with classes, lectures and excursions for Savvy Seniors/50+, will be available during the week beginning August 10, 2015. Registration for all programs will begin on Monday, August 17th at 9:00 a.m.

Registration can be handled online, using the City’s software program, or in person at Juan Bautista de Anza Park, 3701 Lost Hills Road, Calabasas. Brochures will be mailed during the week of August 10th and available at the Calabasas Tennis and Swim Center, 23400 Park Sorrento, and at Calabasas City Hall, 100 Civic Center Way.

Savvy Seniors can look forward to continuation of many well attended classes and single session lectures focusing on entertainment, fitness, technology, music, fine arts and personal development. Singer Bonnie Bowden will perform at a picnic and concert in De Anza Park. New excursions for the Fall include: Glendale Center Theater to see “Guys and Dolls”, Santa Barbara Culinary Institute and Santa Barbara Mission, St. Sophia, Ethnic Bakeries, Mission Inn, and Wilshire Boulevard Temple.

It is necessary to create an account, prior to registering for classes. To create an account for registration: Go to the City of Calabasas website, click on the existing recreation brochure on the right hand column, and follow the instructions for “Creating an Account” by clicking on “Online Class Registration” and then “Create an Account”. If you already have an account, click on “Sign In”.
