Thieves Target Pricey Accessories, Bikes

A $31,000 Rolex watch, $2,000 Louis Vuitton handbag and a collection of bicycles reportedly are stolen from local homes.

An 18-karat women's Rolex watch valued at $31,000 was stolen from a residence in the 4000 block of Prado Del Trigo, according to deputies.

The theft occurred sometime between noon on July 19 and noon on July 29, according to a deputy’s report.

The watch was described as yellow gold, with a champagne-colored dial and a serial number of T766261. The victim last saw it when she placed it in the top drawer of her closet dresser, the report read.

An investigation is ongoing.

Designer Handbag, Electronics Taken From Home

A $2,000 Louis Vuitton handbag and other personal belongings were stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Pulido Court, deputies said.

The theft occurred sometime between 6 a.m. Aug. 9 and 1 a.m. on Aug. 20, according to a deputy’s report.

The homeowner believes the handbag and other items were stolen while he was out of town, deputies said.

The women’s handbag had a brown- and black-checkered design with red suede lining and was made of leather, authorities said.

A $180 Panasonic Lumix digital camera and a $200 iPod touch were also stolen, according to a deputy's report.

6 bicycles stolen

Six bicycles were taken from a residence in the 26000 block of Bravo Lane on Sunday, deputies said.

The theft happened sometime between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m., according to a deputy's report.

The bikes were placed beside the residence's garage and were not secured, authorities said.

The stolen bikes include:

  • A green Mongoose bike with four pegs valued at $200;
  • A pink woman’s beach cruiser valued at $200;
  • A red men’s mountain bike valued at $100;
  • A girl’s Barbie bicycle valued at $100;
  • Two additional bicycles with no descriptions available.
