Rondell Smart Park Opens In Calabasas
Mayor James Bozajian cut the ribbon Friday morning at Calabasas's new Rondell Smart Park.

CALABASAS, CA — Calabasas Mayor James Bozajian cut the ribbon on a new park and ride lot called Rondell Smart Park Friday morning, equipped with four EVgo charging stations.

The park, located at the intersection of Rondell Street and Las Virgenes Road, the park will have 131 spots: five spots for the nearby hiking trail head, 15 for transit using commuters and four for reserved for vehicle charging.
The city began working on the parking lot in July 2020 and had shut Rondell Street to pedestrians throughout building.

The parking lot is located adjacent to the Rondell Oasis Hotel, which is still being built, set to be completed by spring 2021.
