Shooting Threat Triggers Scare At Erewhon Market In Calabasas
When sheriff's officials arrived to the scene, no weapons were found, an LASD lieutenant told Patch.

CALABASAS, CA – A man described by police as "mentally unstable" created a scare in Calabasas last week when he claimed to have a shotgun in the parking lot of Erewhon Market, according to the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department Malibu/Lost Hills station.
The man said he had a shot gun so patrons and employees of the store called the authorities, according to LASD Lt. Greg Minster. When sheriff's officials arrived to the scene, there were no weapons and the man was detained, Minster said.
The man was not arrested or charged after the incident, and was taken to a mental health facility for treatment, the sheriff's spokesperson said. Erewhon Market is located at 26767 Agoura Road in Calabasas.
