Suspects Sought in 2 Calabasas Bank Hold-Ups

BREAKING: A $10,000 reward is being offered for info leading to arrests and convictions.

CALABASAS, CA – The FBI and Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Thursday circulated surveillance images of armed suspects who staged takeover- style robberies at two banks in Calabasas.

A $10,000 reward has been offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects, dubbed the "County Line Bandits" because the banks they robbed were near the Los Angeles-Ventura county line, according to the FBI's Laura Eimiller.

The most recent robbery occurred on Feb. 24 at a Bank of America branch at 23631 Calabasas Road, Eimiller said.

The bandits are also suspected in a "similar-style" robbery on Dec. 15 at a Chase branch at 23703 Calabasas Road, Eimiller said.

"Witnesses at the February robbery described the suspects' getaway vehicle as a gold or tan Chevrolet Suburban (SUV) with tinted windows," she said.

Anyone with information about the suspects, or who recognizes them from surveillance images, was urged to call 911 or the FBI's 24-hour tip line (888) 226-8443.
