The View From Calabasas: It's The End of The Road
The city has plenty of impressive vistas, and each week we'll be sharing one.

There are tons of lush, green trees in Calabasas, but on hikes through our hills, chaparral and even remaining evidence of the last brush fire to come through the areas is pretty common and that's what I saw on a recent walk at the Las Virgenes Open Space area.
Though that's really all this photo is of, something about this END sign with the tree skeleton in the background caught my eye: the dead tree stands testament to what must have been the end to many forms of wildlife; the sign, announces it outright; yet, all around both grows a new generation of brush and, presumably, all the animals that call it home.
