The View From Calabasas: Up High on Stunt Road
The city has plenty of impressive vistas, and each week we'll be sharing one.
This week's breathtaking view comes from outside of Calabasas, but it still manages to encapsulate the community and the beauty of the Santa Monica Mountains into a single frame.
Heads up: it takes a bit of an effort to get to this vantage point, and that's still by taking a car.
Head west on Mulholland Highway for a few miles and hang a left at Stunt Road. Get ready for about 10 minutes of twists and turns as you embark on a lengthy ascent.

Pull over when you get to the first stop sign, literally it's the first one after turning onto Stunt Road. Then, take your pick. To the left you'll see the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains or look to the right to gaze upon the Pacific Ocean in the distance.
