Lower Topanga State Park Habitat Restoration - 12/13/2015

Lower Topanga State Park Habitat Restoration Volunteer Event with Mountains Restoration Trust on December 13, 2015 from 8:30am-11:30am

Lower Topanga State Park Restoration: Native plants are working hard to bring a natural eco-balance to the lower Topanga Creek area of the park. But they need a boost – Join Mountains Restoration Trust and TreePeople to care for the native plants and remove the invasive, non-native ones. Receive community service credit.

Registration is Required: Please register for the event on our Eventbrite page here. Registered volunteers will receive an email confirmation with more details.

Great Fun for Kids and Families! Volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or a guardian. Volunteers under the age of 18 must bring a signed Parental Consent Form.

What to Bring: a snack, water, sunscreen, a hat, and wear sturdy footwear. Prepare to get dirty. Gloves and tools will be provided, but you should bring your own work gloves if you have them.

Directions and Parking: Entrance is a few hundred feet NORTH of the Pacific Coast Highway on Topanga Canyon Road. Park along the wide dirt shoulder and look for MRT/TreePeople signage.
